Interesting. I'm inclined to see the same, in years coming. This is just a hunch - personal experience. I'm exactly that "gets over a hundred mails a day", and have been also quite heavily seeking tools to simply manage the removal of many, many newsletters. What I find particularly siding more towards web as a medium, is that web enables people to do a tiny little feedback without "getting involved". We like to safely (and ultra quickly) indicate something back, but we for sure will not tolerate the fuss of a link leading (from newsletter), to some kind of landing web page, clicking all those GDPR's, and then feeling kind of deserted anyway. That's my personal view.
