Lately I have read a lot. Somewhere aronud a 100 pages per day.

Though quite honestly the way I do reading is.. hmm.. how should I put it? “Not always orthodox”. I tend to have a lot of books ongoing at any given time. Sometimes there is a clear winner that deserves all of the attention, which does give very good feeling, having streaked a lot of pages from a single tome.

Azure cloud tech cookbook is a really good piece. It reads fast, and gives instant leverage. Recommended! Tech cookbooks definitely deserve their place in my bookshelf.

By the way, not a single word in this article comes out of ChatGPT or any other writing aide. I sometimes experiment and write lot of sketches and code with ChatGPT — but this article is pure au naturel.

I try to be brutally plain and just let the words flow out.

I am reading about FBI’s profiling methods. The book is called MindHunter and it features Douglas, who invented some of the main profiling technologies for criminal profiling. Especially those applied to some of the most challenging cases. It’s definitely a fascinating read.

My software endeavour is set on producing a arcade style clone about 1943 Midway.

When I wrote my own blog back in the days, there was a adamant advice of pushing for a lot of internal linking. So it meant that when you had grown the organic content (blog posts) on the site, then adviced was to also keep linking your own articles from other posts on the same site. The idea is that people keep reading stuff, ie. spend time on your blog.

Makes sense, I totally get it.

How do you do linking on Medium? It is an open question. I am quite new here. All advice well taken and hugely appreciated!

About the 1943 arcade:

This game was one of those experiences that has set a permanent imagery to my virtual retina. I am not sure how much I played it, but this is one of those things you just remember.

PyGame is the platform for this one — at least for now, for the demo. I am kind of stuck right now with writing code and making the graphics.

I have a habit of recording a simple audio for myself, kind of like listening to a small podcast episode, instead of looking at a todo-list. Wish me luck!

Let me know in comments if you have ideas with the arcade game!

Have you played 1943, as a coin-op or computer game?
