Rogue Thoughts Inspire New Paths
What the Rogue AI scientist project reflects in me, is curiosity.
This story tells the background, for — everything.
Shower aha — maybe not a complete Eureka!
I wake up and almost every morning I have that “shower aha” moment, trying to let information sift through my still sleeping brain, and while things happen, I get ideas of graphs, dependencies and often — yes, processes. What happens, why? How could it be explained best?
Is “that” a good design?
What could be alternatives to this? What would that lead into, then? Surely we don’t have a silvet bullet… Or… do we?
Look at this simple rubber hose, clamped with a metal clamper to a white thingie. It looks actually simple, but in there, to make these beasts work well in the kitchen, shower or other facilities, you need skill. Clamping leads to two things: water-tightness (good — so that water does not leak through the rubber/plastic mechanical joint), and curbing the flow (bad) — possibly also wearing the rubber material too soon (bad). Perfect amount of clamping takes the silvet bullet there. It takes experience to get it right.
No, don’t get me wrong. I have zero appliances with me in the shower. No digital displays, and I am not listening…
