There is an interesting human-thinking paradox, attempting to sort or categorize discrete items, like books or clothes. Once you choose the mental "method", ie rules to sort by, you will find that backtracking happens, and re-evaluation of the heuristics needed for clean sort. Can SVM fit and margin choices be used to alleviate this kind of mental anguish with some kind of condition: no-backtracking-needed ?
